If all goes according to plan, Kim Kardashian will walk down the aisle in just a few months' time.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star discussed her impending nuptials during a Thursday, Jan. 23, appearance on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Though the bride-to-be and Kanye West recently toured the Palace of Versailles, the 33-year-old reality star explained that they haven't settled on a venue just yet.
"He and I had never been there, so we just wanted a tour. And of course everyone thought we were picking that as our wedding place," Kardashian said. "We were just taking a tour. But we will be getting married this summer, hopefully in Paris." She then clarified, " When I said 'hopefully,' I didn't mean like 'hopefully getting married.' I meant 'hopefully just this summer.'"
Still, the Place of Versailles isn't off the table entirely. A source recently told E! News that the future bride and groom were "asking a lot of questions about how to put on the perfect wedding party." The lovebirds discussed menu options, weather patterns and how many people they can fit in the palace.
"Kim in particular is really in love with the place," the source said, adding that "Kanye really likes it, too."
The City of Light is "like our second home," the fashion designer said of the French capital. "We spend so much time there. We have a second apartment there. We really love it." Baby North West, 7 months, stayed home in Calabasas, Calif., during their European trip--at her dad's insistence.
"We went on a vacation for New Year's and we shared a condo with my mom. We all went skiing," Kardashian recalled. "So he's just like, 'Babe, can we please just have three days to ourselves without any family members? It's too much traveling for her. Please, I just want alone time with us.' I was like, 'You are so right! Let's spend these couple days together.'"
Other wedding details are being kept under wraps until further notice. "I'm not telling you where or the date, but I think it's kind of obvious that it's in Paris," Kardashian told host Jimmy Kimmel.
West, 36, has been hands-on with nearly every aspect of their big day. "I know they think or they say that the guy doesn't care or just shows up, but Kanye really cares and he's really passionate about it," Kardashian said, "so that makes my job so much easier."
"I believe that 100 percent," Kimmel quipped.
"He knows what he wants and I love that about him," Kardashian gushed. "We're kind of taking different roles--he'll take care of the music, I'll take care of the seating chart--so we're making it really easy on each other." Asked if West will rap his vows, the twice-married star replied, "I don't think so."
The E! reality star also revealed she will take her love's surname after they tie the knot. "I'll probably be Kim Kardashian, move that to my middle name, West," she explained.
