What exactly?( Sun Oct 17 14:26:56 PDT 2010 $__output )
What we love about the game is also what we fear -- that it's physical, dangerous and played by men who are big and fast with bad atty-toods.
Helmets protect players from concussions but they might be just as culpable for creating them.
Lets face it helmets are weapons. And, try as they may to alleviate its use, plays like Sunday’s on DeSean will continue to happen.
Of course, it's easy in our slo-mo, DVR and instant replay world to second guess all day about how Robinson could've pulled back or ease off on Jackson. But the reality is, those plays happen in a millisecond -- in the time it takes to blink your eye or hiccup.
That's the reason why these guys are paid the millions they make.
We can't have it both ways.
If you love the game because it's a tough game played by tough men, then you also have to accept the fact that plays like Robinson hitting Jackson are going to happen.
And by the way, I don't even think Robinson should've been flagged for it.
Tell me you thoughts on the hit and what should have happened to Robinson.
