Reports of Funnel Cloud in New Jersey

The National Weather Service received reports from the public of a funnel cloud in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey at 5:05 p.m. on Friday.

And a picture we got from Emma seems to back that up, according to NBC10 Chief Meteorologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz.

"Now this does a appear to be a funnel cloud. There was a tornado warning issued because of this, but it was moving into a very unpopulated area, so no reports of damage, but that's quite an impressive picture," Schwartz said.

The photo was taken along the White Horse Pike in Hammonton.

Torrential rains left four inches of rain in Glassboro, New Jersey. The downpour caused flash flooding, stranding some drivers in Winslow Township.
