The Sixers' main social media account has broken its silence … but it's not about the story everyone wants to hear.
After 51 hours of radio silence following the release of The Ringer's bombshell article about Sixers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo, the team's social media account finally posted to acknowledge Brett Brown's three-year contract extension. The news on Brown actually was first reported on Twitter (via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski) right before The Ringer's article came out.
As the team broke its Twitter silence, Sixers fans responded with tons of comments and they're not happy, which has nothing to do with the news of Brown's extension. It's just not the news they wanted to hear the Sixers' account post about. They want information regarding Colangelo.
Here's a look at some of their responses, showing the current climate of the fan base.

The fans want answers and they are absolutely not using burner accounts to let the organization know ... or are they?
