Watch: DeMarcus Cousins Mops Wells Fargo Center Floor During Bizarre Pregame Delay

In a bizarre scene at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night, the scheduled 7:05 p.m. game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings was postponed "due to an issue regarding the surface of the court."

After about an hour-long delay, the team announced the game would be postponed after NBA officials determined the court was not suitable to play on. Tickets for the game will be honored when the game is rescheduled later this season. Parking receipts for Wednesday night's game will also be honored at the rescheduled game.

The 76ers are also offering complimentary tickets to fans who purchased tickets for Wednesday's game for the following matchups: Dec. 5 vs. Denver Nuggets, Dec. 14 vs. Toronto Raptors, or Dec. 18 vs. Brooklyn Nets.

Season ticket members will be contacted regarding the new ticket offers directly. Fans who bought tickets for Wednesday's game will receive an email with a promotional offer code to redeem the complimentary tickets. They can also call 215-339-7676 for more information.

Officials have not revealed what exactly was on the court though some described it as a "filmy substance."

CEO Scott O'Neil said the building told him it was not related to the refrigeration system.

Others described it as "some sort of sheen."

What was inarguable, however, was the just how awesome it was to see Kings' big man Boogie Cousins lending his hand to mop the floor clean. Daniel Ochefu would be proud.

The #Sixers are going to wet mop the floor and ask the #NBA if they can delay the game.
