The Sixers could have as many as four first-round picks, and next week they will get the opportunity to see and meet with prospects at the draft combine in Chicago. The NBA released the full list of combine participants on Thursday for the event, which runs from May 11-15.
LSU small forward Ben Simmons, the projected No. 1 pick on many draft boards, chose not to attend. This is not uncommon for expected top picks to forego the event. Last year, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor and Emmanuel Mudiay opted not attend.
Dragan Bender, the top international prospect, also will not be at the combine. The power forward is still playing in his season with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Aside from Simmons and Bender, there will be plenty of projected high lottery picks in attendance. Brandon Ingram (small forward, Duke), Jaylen Brown (small forward, California), Jamal Murray (guard, Kentucky), Buddy Hield (shooting guard, Oklahoma) and Kris Dunn (point guard, Providence) are on the list. Prior to the NBA Draft Combine, front office personnel will also have the opportunity to get a look at approximately 40 players who made an impression in the Development League this season. The two-day D-League Elite Mini Camp will begin May 9 in Chicago. Among those invited are Delaware 87ers Charles Jackson and David Laury.
