If you were looking for new information Monday on Markelle Fultz and his appointment with a shoulder specialist, you'll have to wait a little longer.
It appears we won't get an update until later in the week on Fultz's shoulder and/or wrist.
Per team source, the shoulder specialist process has started for Markelle Fultz, expected to see multiple specialists & update won't happen until later this week.— Serena Winters (@SerenaWinters) November 26, 2018
So now the timeline gets extended and the anticipation grows.
It was last Monday that Fultz was benched for the second half of the Sixers' win over the Suns in favor of T.J. McConnell. The following day, Fultz's agent Raymond Brothers said that his client would be seeing a shoulder specialist the following Monday (today) and would not participate in games or practices.
Since then, it's been reported that Fultz "could prefer a change in scenery" and that he'd have his wrist evaluated as well. Then another report surfaced that he wasn't "in the Sixers' long-term plans."
