It seems like it's been eons since Andre Iguodala played for your Philadelphia 76ers. And Dre now claims in his later years he can't jump like he used to. But if you've been tuning in to the fantastic series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors, you know that claim of his is simply false.
But it wasn't a poweful dunk that had people thinking Iguodala was a magician last night, it was a ridiculous circus layup.
Now, you may say that Dre's move wasn't the most graceful and that he kind of just threw the ball at the basket and it went in, which is pretty much true. But there's some skill in the English he put on that ball.
“It wasn’t fun — I thought I was going to die,” Iguodala said. “I was going up to dunk, and I kind of got clipped. I was just trying not to kill myself on the way down.”
So cool to watch but apparently not so cool to do. @Andre Iguodala: "It wasn't fun. I thought I was going to die." pic.twitter.com/XYWOYs3mvB— Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols) May 19, 2016
