He may not have an NFL title under his belt, but Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie sure has cash in his pocket as a new member of the billionaires club.
Lurie is one of 793 billionaires world wide, according to Forbes Magazine.
This is the first time he was named to the list, tying for place 701 with $1 billion.
Lurie was born in Boston and heir to a publishing and movie-theater fortune, Philly.com reported. He bought the Eagles in 1994 for a record price of $185 million.
That investment surely paid off.
But, despite the higher percentage of wins and playoff games with Lurie as owner, where is the payoff for Eagles Fans?
Roll in the dough all you want, Lurie, but where’s our title?
