Lee Takes the Mound

Cliff Lee made his first start since returning to the Phillies and signing a $120 million deal as they try to make it two in a row over the Astros after a dramatic comeback win in the opener.

Saturday made for a gorgeous day for baseball as fans started pouring in to Citizens Bank Park around 2:00 p.m.

The Phillies beat the Astros in a 5-4 comeback thriller Friday.

The pitcher received both criticism and praise in December for his surprising decision to return to Philly despite possibly better offers from the Yankees and Rangers.

In 2009, Lee led the Phillies to the World Series before a six-game loss to the New York Yankees.

Tonight’s game is underway.
