His benching is over … for now, anyway.
Flyers sophomore defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere will make his return to the lineup tonight against the New York Islanders.
The 23-year-old had been a healthy scratch for the past three games. It was his third benching this season.
Ghost was one of the very few Flyers who took the ice this morning at Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J., for an optional skate.
Afterward, coach Dave Hakstol confirmed to CSN that Gostisbehere would be back in the lineup.
It remains unknown who he will be paired with.
