One night after losing the "biggest game of the year," the Flyers will give it another "shot" in Minnesota.
How will the orange and black respond after firing a season-high 51 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Penguins?
Tuesday night, the Flyers (25-24-7, 57 points) will try to complete a season sweep of the Wild (27-24-5, 59 points).

• Interim head coach Scott Gordon will be interested to see how the Flyers respond as his team lost ground Monday, falling eight points behind the Penguins and Blue Jackets in the race for the second wild-card position in the Eastern Conference.

I think it all depends on how we respond [Tuesday]. If we're going to sulk over it and think it's the end of the season, then it's a big loss. But if we play like we did [Monday], then one game isn't going to be the defining moment of the year.

• The Flyers' most recent eight-game winning streak started with a 7-4 win over the Wild at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 14.
In that game, James van Riemsdyk recorded his fourth career hat trick, while Wayne Simmonds and Nolan Patrick each chipped in with two goals apiece.
• Jakub Voracek is riding a season-high seven-game point streak after scoring the team's lone goal in the 4-1 loss to the Penguins. Voracek has three goals and six assists during this current stretch.
Voracek scored a power-play goal during Evgeni Malkin's five-minute major in the latter stages of the third period. The Flyers' power play has now converted in five of the last six games and is 9 for 22 (41 percent) during that stretch.
• With the Flyers playing on back-to-back nights, Anthony Stolarz will be in the cage for the Flyers.
Despite losing a 3-2 shootout to the Kings last Thursday, Stolarz has been brilliant in his two games back from injury with a .974 save percentage and a 0.97 goals-against average.
• Minnesota will be playing without its captain and center Mikko Koivu, who is out for the season after tearing his ACL and meniscus during last Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Sabres. General manager Paul Fenton called the loss of Koivu "a blow to the organization."
• Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher served as GM of the Wild from 2009-18. The Wild advanced to the postseason during the last six years of Fletcher's tenure before owner Craig Leipold elected to not renew Fletcher's contract on April 23.
• The Wild are set to honor former Twins great and three-time batting champ Joe Mauer prior to the game. Mauer, who played all 15 seasons with the Twins' organization, will drop the ceremonial puck.
