Zach Ertz Misses Another Day of Practice

The Eagles didn't have a normal practice on Thursday because of Thanksgiving, so their injury report was just an estimation, but Zach Ertz was listed as a non-participant for the second day in a row.

Ertz is dealing with a hamstring injury and also missed Wednesday's practice after stretching with the team.

Eagles players rarely play on Sunday after missing Wednesday and Thursday during the week.

The Eagles are playing a pretty bad Miami Dolphins team this weekend, but Ertz has been their best offensive weapon this season. And he's been even better in the last few weeks.

In the first three games of November, Ertz already had 30 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He's had at least nine catches and 90 yards in each game.

Here's the full Eagles' injury report from Thursday:

Did not practice: Zach Ertz (hamstring)

Limited: Nelson Agholor (knee), Jordan Howard (shoulder), Alshon Jeffery (ankle), Jason Peters (knee)

Full: Brandon Brooks (illness), Vinny Curry (not injury related), Lane Johnson (concussion), Carson Wentz (hand)

Howard still hasn't been cleared for contact from a stinger he suffered in the Bears game before the bye. He won't be allowed to play until he gets cleared for contact.

Curry returned today after missing Wednesday's session for a non-injury reason.

It is worth nothing that Jeffery and Agholor have been limited the first two days of the week. On Wednesday, before practice, head coach Doug Pederson said both guys would be full participants. As much as both have struggled this season, getting them back would be a help to what has become a struggling offense.
