Howie Roseman continues to make more cap space seemingly appear out of thin air.
This time, the Eagles have reportedly restructured Zach Ertz's contract to create over $5 million in cap space for the 2019 season.

Before this move, the Eagles had $19,219,391 in cap space. They began this offseason well over the salary cap limit, but Roseman has been resourceful in limiting cap hits over the last few months. The Eagles have moved around money a few times now.
Like most of these moves, the Eagles aren't going to pay Zach Ertz any less money, they've just changed the way they're paying him. By converting base salary to bonus money, Ertz gets the money in his pocket quicker and the Eagles prolong the cap charges. Bonus money prorates over the remaining length of the contract. They Eagles have now done this multiple times this offseason.

Before this restructure, Ertz had a base salary of $7.75 million and a salary cap hit of $12,047,500 million for the 2019 season. That was the second-highest cap hit on the team. The only player with a bigger cap hit in 2019 is Alshon Jeffery ($14.725M).
It's unclear what the Eagles are going to use this money for, but the biggest looming deal is obviously the Carson Wentz extension. The Eagles don't have to extend their franchise quarterback this offseason, but if they want to, they'll have plenty of available space.
If the Eagles don't use this cap space in 2019, it simply rolls over to the 2020 league year.
