Julius Erving, while watching the Sixers-Pistons game on Friday night from a Wells Fargo Center suite, felt ill and was taken to an area hospital.
On Saturday afternoon, he was released and is expected to make a full recovery.
His management team released the following statement via Twitter:
"Mr. Erving has been released from the hospital after a comprehensive medical evaluation. He's expected to make a full recovery and sincerely thanks all of his friends and fans for their well wishes and prayers."
