Sherman's 2016 NFL Mock Draft 3.0: Tunsil Still Ahead of Stanley

It's just about that time. With the NFL draft happening on Thursday night, Jared Sherman has his third mock draft. Not surprisingly, he has the Eagles taking Carson Wentz, but he does have Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil still going before Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley.

1. Los Angeles Rams - Jared Goff, QB, California
Done deal.

2. Philadelphia Eagles - Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
Howie Roseman betting his job on this move.

3. San Diego Chargers - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Mississippi
I keep hearing Ronnie Stanley here, but San Diego can't be that crazy, right?

4. Dallas Cowboys - Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State
Dallas decides not to make a big splash with Zeke Elliott and instead helps out their terrible defense.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars - DeForest Buckner, DL, Oregon
Joey Bosa might make more sense but Buckner is just a better player.

6. Baltimore Ravens - Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
Not quite sure how Bosa fits in their defense, but Ozzie Newsome isn't shy about grabbing the best available guy and then figuring out how to use him.

Eagles fulfill a need drafting cornerback Quinyon Mitchell

The Quinyon Mitchell vs. James Bradberry competition is officially over

7. San Francisco 49ers - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
Kelly gets his way and the Niners grab their future franchise QB.

8. Cleveland Browns - Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
Even with the Trent Richardson taste still in their mouths the Browns make a the right decision and find their offense's new focal point.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
The Bucs offense looks solid. Time to fix the defense.

10. New York Giants - Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
Giants need a bookend for Ereck Flowers. Stanley isn't the most physical OT but he's got the size and athletic ability to be a star.

11. Chicago Bears - Leonard Floyd, LB, Georgia
The Bears need pass rushers, and while Floyd is probably best suited as a 3-4 OLB, he can play and make an impactful in the 4-3.

12. New Orleans Saints - Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
Rankins gives a bad Saints defense an anchor in the middle.

13. Miami Dolphins - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
There are concerns about his knee but too talented to not roll the dice on here.

14. Oakland Raiders - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
Conklin becomes another building block in Oakland's rise from the ashes.

15. Tennessee Titans - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
Decker slides in at right tackle alongside Taylor Lewan.

16. Detroit Lions - Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
Detroit gets a leader in the middle of their defense.

17. Atlanta Falcons - Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
Falcons always seem to need a pass rusher. Lawson could be a force rushing from the tackle position on passing downs.

18. Indianapolis Colts - Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
The Colts get another starting CB to play alonside Vontae Davis.

19. Buffalo Bills - Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson
The Bills released Mario Williams and need a pass rusher up front. Dodd will be a double-digit sack guy in two years.

20. New York Jets - Noah Spence, LB, Eastern Kentucky
The Jets would love Lynch here but have to go with a potentially explosive edge rusher.

21. Washington Redskins - Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor
Skins have some holes up front and Billings could be a monster at NT.

22. Houston Texans - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
Coleman provides the deep speed lacking in Houston's offense.

23. Minnesota Vikings - Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State
The Vikes could use a further infusion of youth and speed at LB. Lee provides both.

24. Cincinnati Bengals - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi
The Bengals lost Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu in free agency. Treadwell steps right in.

25. Pittsburgh Steelers - William Jackson, CB, Houston
The Steelers desperately need help in the secondary. Jackson gives them size and ball skills.

26. Seattle Seahawks - Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
A reach here, but Seattle's o-line stinks. Ifedi isn't a finished product, but has lots of potential.

27. Green Bay Packers - A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
The Pack need added beef in the middle after B.J. Raji retired.

28. Kansas City Chiefs - Jarran Reed, DL, Alabama
Reed provides some versatility and run stuffing acumen to the Chiefs' d-line.

29. Arizona Cardinals - Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Mississippi
Calais Campbell and Nkemdiche could be downright scary. Cards aren't afraid to take risks.

30. Carolina Panthers - Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia
The hard-hitting Joseph bolsters a suspect back end of the secondary.

31. Denver Broncos - Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana
Ryan Clady is gone and Spriggs would be the heir apparent at LT.
