Eagles Injury Update: Jordan Matthews Still Out, Allen Barbre Returns

As the Eagles limp to the finish line of their 2016 season, they might be without their top receiver on Sunday against Dallas.

As Thursday's practice kicked off, Jordan Matthews wasn't on the field, signaling his second straight day missing practice. Earlier in the week, head coach Doug Pederson said Matthews was expected to be fine for the game, but that appears to be in more question now.

Matthews has been dealing with his ankle injury since the Green Bay game. He seemed somewhat limited by the injury last week against the Giants, when he played just 39 of 56 offensive snaps.

While Matthews wasn't back at practice on Thursday, left guard Allen Barbre was.

Barbre was able to start last week's game but played just 13 snaps before leaving. If Barbre can't play or goes down on Sunday, Stefen Wisniewski would step in again.

Matthews and Barbre were the only two to not practice on Wednesday.
