Buccaneers' DeSean Jackson Clears Concussion Protocol, Will Play Vs. Eagles

There was no way DeSean Jackson would miss this one.

Jackson has cleared the concussion protocol and will play Sunday vs. the Eagles, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia's Derrick Gunn.

The 32-year-old was dominant in the Bucs' shocking Week 1 thrashing of the Saints, catching five balls for 146 yards and two touchdowns - his most yards in a game since 2015 and first multi-score game since 2013. Jackson left the game in the fourth quarter with the head injury.

Jackson, who spent the first six years of his career with the Eagles, always seems to elevate his play against his old team. In five career games vs. the Eagles, Jackson has averaged 88 yards per game, adding two touchdowns. Oh, and his teams are 4-1 in those games.

However, that one loss came at the hands (arm?) of Nick Foles in 2014.
