Rex Ryan Involved in Bethlehem Car Crash: Police

Police say it happened at 6:13 p.m. on January 14 at the intersection of Wyandotte/Route 378 and West third streets in Bethlehem.

Bethlehem Police are investigating a car accident involving New York Jets coach Rex Ryan.

Police say it happened at 6:13 p.m. on January 14 at the intersection of Wyandotte/Route 378 and West third streets in Bethlehem.

Ryan was driving a Ford Mustang west on West Third Street when he collided with another vehicle which was driving through a traffic light on Wyandotte Street/Route 378, according to investigators. The driver told police the impact caused his vehicle to strike a third vehicle which was turning from Wyandotte Street onto West Third.

No one was injured in the accident. Police have not identified the other two people involved. A witness told police he saw Ryan drive through the red light at West Third and West Wyandotte Streets. Police have not confirmed this however and continue to investigate the accident. No arrests have been made.
