Dell, Women's Quad Scull Advance to Final

U.S. Scull finishes 2nd in Repechage

Natalie Dell’s dream of bringing home gold to the Keystone State remained alive Monday morning after she and the U.S. Women’s Quadruple Scull finished second in the Repechage round.

The Women’s Quad Scull finished Tuesday’s race in 6:19:49 -- about four seconds slower than their time in the Heats.

Dell, who hails from Clearville, Pa., and her teammates -- including Megan Kalmoe, Kara Kohler and Adrienne Martelli -- came within less than a second of Repechage winner Australia.

“I’m going to represent all of Pennsylvania,” Dell told NBC10 before the Games.

Win or lose in Wednesday morning’s final, Dell’s done just that.
