Bulldog Blog: Eagles Green at Lower Merion

After a week long break for the holidays students at Lower Merion were hopeful that they would come back from winter break on Monday with a good distraction: the Eagles having a first round bye in the playoffs. However, due to the Eagles rough, to say the least, loss on Sunday students were even more upset to wake up extra early.

Walking through the hallways you could see that students still believed in their hometown team as the halls were a little greener than usual.

I spoke to some Eagles fans like Drew Scheier who already had an Eagles playoff schedule already planned. β€œWe’ll win this weekend and then next weekend play on Sunday which is great because next Monday we don’t have school!”

Along with that wish the talk in school this week was about possibly having a snow day – we know how that turned out.

Sadly enough, I did see one blue star, the lone Cowboys fan who questioned the Eagles fans at school saying β€œare you aware that you lost twice against us?”

We’ll see who is smiling come Monday morning.

And, as always feel free to drop me an email with your feedback.
