New Audio Gives Sunset Deadline for ISIS Hostage Swap

A voice purporting to be that of a Japanese hostage taken by the terror group ISIS was featured in new audio released Wednesday, NBC News reported. In the audio, the supposed voice of Kenji Goto demands that a jailed would-be suicide bomber be delivered to the Turkish border by sunset Thursday (around 9:30 a.m. ET) or a Jordanian fighter pilot, who is also being held captive by the group, will be executed. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said in a speech before Parliament Thursday that the government was seeking assistance from Jordan as it tries to secure Goto's freedom.
