Surveillance footage shows a man steal a 2-foot-long python from a pet store in Oregon by stuffing the snake down his pants.
According to NBC affiliate KGW, the man made off with a $200 black pastel ball python Friday.
Surveillance video from A to Z Pets in Portland shows the thief remove the snake from a glass tank and tuck it into his belt.
"They like dark warm places so he was probably very comfortable where he was at," store owner and manager Christin Bjugan told KGW.
Bjugan said the family pet store has been in business for 20 years. She hopes surveillance footage will help police catch the perpetrator and hold him accountable.
