Doug Hutchinson, the 51 year-old veteran character actor who has appeared in such movies and television series as "Lost," "24," "CSI: Miami," "The Green Mile," and "I Am Sam," has just legally wed a 16 year-old aspiring country singer in Las Vegas.
According to the Nevada Marriage Bureau, marriage license applicants must be at least 18 years old, but minors may register with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Hutchinson's bride, Courtney Alexis Stodden, is a former beauty pageant queen and budding singer.

The couple released a statement regarding their unusual partnership.
"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," the couple said in the statement. "But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."
Hutchinson gained some recognition for his role as sadistic prison guard Percy Wetmore in "The Green Mile," mysterious "Dharma Initiative" leader Horace Goodspeed on "Lost," and as "Loony Bin JIm" in the action film "Punisher: War Zone."
