Police used pepper spray to disperse angry concertgoers Monday night after rapper Travis Scott postponed a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the last minute.
Attendees waiting in line chanted and threw objects at the venue, an arena, in an attempt to open the doors, prompting police to try and disperse the crowd, officials said. Although there were no arrests or injuries, police said they plan to investigate and charge those involved with vandalism.
Scott, who recently performed at the Super Bowl halftime show this month, informed fans that the show was being put on hold with a Twitter post 30 minutes after the 8 p.m. concert was supposed to start, according to NBC affiliate KJRH.
"Tulsa so sorry I can't perform at tonight's sold out show. We had last minute production issues and I can't give y'all an incomplete show," he said, adding that he hoped everyone would "get home safe."
The Bank of Oklahoma Center had tweeted about the cancellation around 7 p.m.
"Due to technical production issues, tonight's sold out Travis Scott show in Tulsa will be moved to March 26th," the BOK Center tweeted. "All tickets purchased for tonight's show will be honored at the rescheduled show on March 26th."
Videos posted on Twitter show angry attendees crowding around the arena's doors and chanting, "Let us in," as police officers watch them from inside the building.

Someone can be seen in one video throwing an object at a door and cracking the glass. In another video, when one man bypasses the guardrails holding the crowd back and opens a door, a police officer rushes outside to confront him.
As the officer holds the door, the crowd surges past the guardrails to see if other doors will open. A police officer is seen pepper-spraying one concertgoer.
A representative for the Tulsa Police Department said police officers also broke pepper balls against the building to disperse the crowd. The dust produced by the broken pepper bells can temporarily irritate eyes and cause them to slightly sting.
"We have video surveillance and lots of videos from individuals' Twitter and social media accounts that we have collected," the representative said. "We're going to utilize the video to identify the individuals responsible and if we can identify them, we will prosecute them."
This isn't the first show on Scott's "Astroworld" tour that the "Sick Mode" rapper has had to postpone because of technical difficulties.
Scott previously postponed shows in Tampa, Florida; Hartford, Connecticut; Cleveland, Ohio, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, due to production issues, Billboard reported.
The rapper is scheduled to perform in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday night.
On Saturday, Scott celebrated the first birthday of Stormi, his daughter with Kylie Jenner, and on Sunday performed at the Grammys.
He also performed alongside Maroon 5 and former Outkast rapper Big Boi during the Super 53 halftime show.
