Young Siblings Die After I-78 Crash

A 2-year-old girl has died from injuries sustained in a crash earlier this week, the second child killed after a car went off Interstate 78 in eastern Pennsylvania.

Lehigh County's First Deputy Coroner tells the (Allentown) Morning Call. Brielle Robinson, of Newark, New Jersey, died Friday morning. Police say her 5-year-old brother, Ravon Robinson, died early Wednesday at the scene of the crash.

State police say 54-year-old Nadine Walton was driving east on I-78 with three passengers, 31-year Stefany Stephens and Stephens' two children. All were from Newark.

They say Walton swerved off the road and then crossed both lanes and hit a guardrail, ejecting the passengers. The car was then hit by two other vehicles.

State police say they found open containers of alcohol in the car, and say the discovery merits further investigation.
