A Year After Driver's Cold-Blooded Killing, Prosecutors Say They Know Who Did It

A warrant is out for a North Carolina man wanted for allegedly shooting a delivery driver at point-blank range, killing him, last year in Yeadon.

The news of the murder warrant issued for Rodney Shelton, 37, comes almost exactly a year after the killing of 63-year-old Thomas Childs.

Childs, of Aston, was working his job as a delivery driver at Ridgeway Industries, in the Yeadon Industrial Park on the 6200 block of Baltimore Avenue, early June 9, 2015 when police say someone shot him point-blank range during a robbery.

Childs died there.

Prosecutors in Delaware County said Monday that they now have a warrant out for the arrest of Shelton, of North Carolina.

When captured, Shelton will face charges including murder, robbery and related offenses.
