Critter Knocks Out Power to Hundreds in Bucks County

Hundreds of customers were left without power in Bucks County after a critter got into a substation Wednesday morning.

The critter bit into wires at a substation along Hollow Horn Road not far from the Tinicum Township Offices around 9:45 a.m., said said First Energy spokesman Scott Surgeoner.

First Energy hoped to restore power to about 1,400 customers by noon.
