An eastern Pennsylvania student has been hospitalized after being struck by a school bus.
Emergency dispatchers say the male student was conscious after being hit Wednesday morning in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County.
Nazareth schools Superintendent Victor Lesky told The Express-Times of Easton the student was hit by a bus carrying students to a Catholic school. An official at that school told the paper the student didn't attend classes there.
WFMZ-TV reported the injured student was 16 years old. He was transported to a hospital with what police called serious injuries.
Lesky says police are investigating.
