Break-ins were reported in at least three off-campus rentals when Lehigh University in Bethlehem was on spring break last week, with an unusual twist, according to The Express-Times.

All three had their kitchens trashed, with chocolate syrup, cooking oil and sauce spread around and walls splattered with eggs.

Detective Sgt. William Doseldo calls the offbeat vandalism just "weird."
