A man crashed his SUV while fleeing an apparent shooting in South Philadelphia.

The driver collided with another SUV along McKean Street near 17th Street in South Philadelphia around 5 a.m., investigators said.

The man, who was not shot, got out of the crashed SUV, bullet holes visible, and said he was shot at multiple times, neighbors told NBC10 News.

A woman in the other SUV, which wound up the wrong way against a pole, was trapped and panicking after the wreck, Dan Lauria, the owner of nearby Brunics, said. Crews came and helped rescue her from the wreckage.
