Wilmington police say officers seized $84,000 worth of heroin after a traffic stop.
Police stopped a car about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. A police dog indicated that there were drugs in the vehicle.
Officers tell The News Journal of Wilmington that a search turned up 5.6 ounces of heroin and 5 grams of marijuana.
Twenty-five-year-old Edrick S. Jones of Wilmington was arrested and charged with possession of heroin in Tier 5 quantity and marijuana possession.
