Philly Cop Busted for DUI

A Philly cop was on desk duty Monday following his drunk driving arrest.

Officer Peter Marrero was arrested around 3:15 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of DUI after he was involved in a minor crash on the 4200 block of N American Street in North Philly, according to Philadelphia Police.

The 21-year veteran of the force appeared to be impaired at the scene and was taken in for a Breathalyzer test, police said.

He was over the legal limit, cops said. But police didn’t say how much over the legal limit Marrero was at the time.
