The robbery took place in the Georgetown Village Apartment Complex in New Castle.
Around 8:25 p.m., the 40-year-old worker flagged down a police officer near Airport Road to report the stick-up. The man indicated that he had just made a delivery to an upper-story apartment in the housing complex.
On his way down the stairs, the delivery worker was accosted by a thief at gun point, who demanded cash. The delivery worker handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the victim fled out the front door.
