A local company has broken the ice into the convenience store industry.
Trevose, Pa.-based Rita's Italian Ice announced it would be entering the convenience and gas channel in the country with two area development agreements.
The agreements were awarded to M&M Arc Inc. for locations in the West, and to Ice & Go for locations in the Midwest, South and Northeast for a total of 60 locations by 2025.
