Comcast's New Partnership Lets Customers Pay Bills in Cash at 7-Eleven

7-Eleven stores just got even more convenient for Comcast customers.

The Philadelphia-based cable giant announced Wednesday that its cable subscribers can now pay their bills in cash at more than 7,700 7-Eleven stores, including at least 20 locations in Philadelphia.

The new payment option came about through a partnership with PayNearMe, a Sunnyvale, California-based company specializing in electronic cash payments.

PayNearMe, which already partnered with the City of Philadelphia for the Indego bike share program, will now allow Comcast customers to use the XFINITY My Account app to pull up a barcode on their phone, which 7-Eleven cashiers then scan.
