Authorities say a worker overcome by fumes was pulled from a vat of solvent at a northern New Jersey paint plant.
Another employee at Hartin Paint & Filler Corporation in Carlstadt saved the man Wednesday.
Carlstadt Fire Department spokesman Dennis Monks tells The Record newspaper firefighters hosed down both men and they were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not released.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
