Shooting Victim's Clothing Stops Him From Bleeding Out: Police

Dressing for the bitter cold possibly saved a man’s life overnight.

A gunman shot a man in the stomach at Germantown Avenue and Juniata Street in the city's Nicetown section after midnight, said Philadelphia Police.

The victim may have bled out but because he had on some may layers to stay warm, more blood remained in his body, said police.
