Tuesday is the deadline for New Jersey residents to register to vote ahead of the Nov. 4 general election.
Voters will choose between Democratic Sen. Cory Booker and Republican challenger Jeff Bell, along with two ballot questions.
One would eliminate the right to bail as a step in a broader plan to overhaul the state's bail system. The second would dedicate some business tax revenues to preserving open space.
Elections for all 12 of the state's Congressional districts are also being held.
Voter registration forms are available at elections.nj.gov. Residents can register to vote at county clerks offices until Tuesday night.
Residents must be a United States citizen, 18 years old by Nov. 4, and a resident of the county for 30 days before the election.
