A teen is in police custody and a man is hospitalized following a stabbing in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police say a 17-year-old boy stabbed a 50-year-old man in the face around 3 a.m. Wednesday on the 2100 block of South Shields Street.
The teen suspect is in custody.
The victim is in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
No word on why the teen allegedly stabbed the man.
