A man has been seriously hurt after being struck by a SEPTA train in North Philadelphia.
The man was hit by a train at SEPTA's North Philadelphia Regional Rail station at Broad Street and Lehigh Avenue around 9 a.m. Friday, according to Philadelphia fire officials.
Officials say he has been taken to nearby Temple University Hospital with trauma wounds.
Several rail lines run through the outdoor station near North Broad Street so the incident has not suspended service, but there are delays.
SEPTA says several lines -- including the Manayunk Norristown and Chestnut Hill East Regional Rail -- are experiencing delays of 10 minutes or longer.
