Man Gunned Down While Sitting on Stoop: Philadelphia Police

The victim was shot between one and four times in the face as he sat near North Fourth Street and Indiana Avenue in North Philadelphia.

A man has been brutally gunned down while sitting on the front stoop of a building, Philadelphia police said.

The victim was shot between one and four times in the face as he sat near North Fourth Street and Indiana Avenue in North Philadelphia around 1:30 a.m. Monday. 

Police were working to identify the man, who they said was Hispanic and appeared to be in his 20s.

Police haven't identified or charged any suspects.

The man was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.
