Man Charged With Delaware Car Break-Ins

Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say broke into cars parked at gyms in the Rehoboth Beach area.

Troopers conducting surveillance early Wednesday saw a car in the parking lot of Club Fitness and the same vehicle with the same driver two hours later at the YMCA.

Police say a computer check showed the car's registration had expired and officers stopped the vehicle. Authorities say a search of the car turned up an improvised device used to break car windows.

Officers say a search near the driver's home turned up a purse that had been stolen from a car at the Club Fitness lot.

Thirty-eight-year-old Kenneth Tolodziecki of Rehoboth was arrested and charged with seven counts of burglary, six counts of theft and other offenses.
