Lancaster Counselor Accused of Sexually Abusing 15-Year-Old Client

Police in central Pennsylvania have charged a since-retired counselor with sexually abusing a 15-year-old female client last year.

LNP reports Lancaster police have accused 71-year-old John Homer of kissing the girl and having her email him nude photos of herself. He's charged with child pornography, corruption of minors and other crimes.

Police say Homer worked at T. W. Ponessa & Associates when the incidents happened last year.

Tom Ponessa, who owns the practice, says Homer worked there from August 2007 until he resigned, saying he planned to retire and move to Washington state.

Lancaster police say Homer was arrested in Spokane, Washington on April 27 and is scheduled to return to Pennsylvania to be arraigned June 3.

Online court records don't list an attorney for him.
