Investigators Looking Into Suspicious Car Fires

Fire crews were called when neighbors woke up and smelled smoke

The Camden County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating two car fires that happened overnight in Winslow Township.

People who live on Colts Neck Drive woke up around 3 a.m. after they heard what sounded like an explosion, then looked outside to see two cars on fire.

Firefighters tell NBC10 the cars were fully engulfed when they arrived. The Mercedes and Mustang were both towed away so investigators could take a closer look at the cars.

The fires are being called suspicious, but investigators say its too early to tell if they were set on purpose.

No one was hurt.

Winslow Township Police say there have been no reports of vandalism in the area.
