Results for medical centers in the region were mixed with more Philadelphia-area hospitals receiving a grade of "C" than any other mark in the latest annual hospital safety scores from the LeapFrog Group.
LeapFrog uses 30 national measures to give out individual grades on how well more than 2,500 hospitals across the country did keeping patients safe from preventable harm and medical errors.
Two South Jersey health systems, Virtua Health and Kennedy Health System, received the top grade of "A" for all of their hospitals.
