Bread Truck Goes Off Road, Into Pennsylvania Yard

A bread truck veered off a suburban Philadelphia road Tuesday morning and onto a lawn, taking out the awning of a home.

Investigators didn’t immediately reveal what caused the delivery truck to lose control along the 2300 block of Bethlehem Pike (Route 309) in Hilltown Township, on the county line between Montgomery and Bucks counties, around 10:40 a.m.

After leaving the wet roadway, the truck took out the awning of a home before coming to rest near a garden center.

No injuries were reported.
