Two people were injured when a motorcyclist crashed while swerving to avoid groundhog on a southern New Jersey roadway.
Toms River police tell the Asbury Park Press that the accident occurred around 11:20 a.m. Sunday on Route 70, near Whitesville Road.
The motorcyclist and a female passenger were both thrown from the bike and were taken to hospitals with undisclosed injuries. But further details on their conditions were not immediately available.
