Police say they broke down the door of a Lehigh Valley hotel to find a registered sex offender passed out naked on the floor while two 6-year-old girls slept in the bed and what they later found on the man’s phone landed him in even more trouble.
Colonial Regional and Salisbury Township police departments joined forces after they got a tip that two 6-year-olds were with a man who isn’t related to them at the Hampton Inn on Gateway Drive in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on Dec. 19.
When police knocked on the door early the next morning, no one answered so they forced their way in to find Glenn Evans, 52, passed out naked on the floor as the girl’s slept in the bed, said a Colonial Regional Police Department criminal complaint obtained by NBC10.
On the room’s dresser was a cellphone, said police.
After waiving his Miranda rights, Evans told investigators that he used the phone to photograph the girls – whose mothers had allowed them to spend time with Evans – clothed, partially clothed and naked, said police.
“The defendant admitted that he filmed the girls so he can view the images later and masturbate while watching the images,” said the criminal complaint.
After obtaining a warrant, investigators found 12 separate images of the girls in various stages of undress, said police. They also found video where Evans could be heard offering the girls more money if they would pose naked for him.
