A 3-year-old girl continues to recover after officials say she fell out of a SEPTA train and onto the tracks.

It happened Tuesday around 9 a.m. at the Market East Station. The girl fell between the train and station platform onto the tracks below. The conductor as well as SEPTA Police rushed to where she fell and quickly pulled her to safety. Surveillance video showed her father holding her after the rescue.

A SEPTA spokesperson tells NBC10 the girl only suffered some scratches and minor bruises. SEPTA also says there was no real threat of the train moving while the girl was on the tracks since the conductor always signals to the engineer when to start the train.
